The Annapolis wedding limousine service

We hired a great limousine service

Yesterday was my little sister’s big wedding day!

Although I am still a bit hungover from the reception, I couldn’t wait to get on here to share the experience! Bear with me for any grammar mistakes I will probably need another 2 cups of coffee!  But I just have to tell you this story about this Awesome limousine service we used for the wedding!

Our family and her husband’s agreed to go a traditional route for the wedding. We had it held out at our Lutheran Church close to home which really added a sentimental value to the whole experience. It’s a big place too so there was not any issues fitting in family and friends and although I was front row I feel as if everybody had a very good vantage point!

Everything went according to plan and ran smoothly.

There were no quirky happenings with arrival like a scene from “The Hangover” which was a relief!

My sister looked absolutely gorgeous coming down that aisle! I know that’s sort of a cliché thing to say, but hey, I was always used to seeing her walk around the house in an oversized t-shirt and sweatpants so it was quite a difference! I’ll admit, as much as I tried listening to the priest speak, the whole time my mind was flashing back to growing up with my sister and how bizarre it was to be watching her all grown up and married now. One of those things you never see coming until it’s happening right before your eyes.

So, the wedding ended and it was time for the fun to begin! We hired this Annapolis limousine service and boy they were phenomenal, friendly, and really catered to our requests!  Although our families wanted a traditional wedding, we both have our party sides to us and this limousine company sure knew how to keep up with that. We rented two party buses for the bridal party, groomsmen, and close family and friends that really planned on getting wild at the reception. If you’ve never been in a ride in one of these I highly suggest doing so. They had a surround sound stereo system, quality champagne, comfortable seating and of course plenty of room for dancing!

A limo service to the Sailboat Show

A limo service to the boat show!

Our next journey takes us across the pond to the world sailing capital, Annapolis, Maryland, home of the Annapolis Sailboat ShowNot to be ones to shy away from a good trip to a “drinking town with a sailing problem” we set off to visit the sailboat capital of the world to see what she would have in store for us.  Once we had decided to visit the capital of wind boats, we decided that we should visit during the Annapolis Annual Sailboat Show.

Held each year, the show boasts the largest collection of sailboats from manufacturers and private sellers around the world.  Visitors flock to the quaint capital of Maryland (officially the smallest capital city in the states) to eat, drink, and … well see sailboats.  Home to the US Naval Academy, Annapolis is steeped in Naval history going back to the time of George Washington.

As we arrived at Thurogood Marshall Airport (commonly called Baltimore Washington International or BWI), we were met by a driver from a local limo service called Naptown Limos.  The limousine was chauffeured by a courteous driver who whisked us away in style towards our hotel in downtown Annapolis.  I am personally thankful we had a driver for this trip.  Normally we travel on a strict budget, but since this was my 60th birthday celebration, my wife and I decided to splurge a bit.

While in Annapolis, we had a wonderful time meeting new folks and seeing all the beautiful sail boats from around the world.  Some of our favorite memories included our late nights in the small pubs in down town Annapolis, or having our limousine take us to Baltimore to visit one of the many fine dining establishments there.
